Our Training Program

That’s why every technician entering our program is required to complete over 120 hours of supervised, on-site field trainingbefore they are cleared to operate independently. During this time, new team members work side by side with experienced supervisors, gaining real-world experience while mastering the technical skills needed to perform scans and utility locates with precision.
Our training program combines hands-on field practice with structured classroom instruction, ensuring technicians not only learn how to use the equipment but also understand the science and safety principles behind it. From interpreting Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) data to executing proper utility mark-outs, each skill is taught, tested, and reinforced until proficiency is achieved. By the time a CSI technician is assigned to a project, they have been thoroughly prepared to deliver accurate results and uphold the company’s strict safety standards.
Beyond initial training, we emphasize ongoing professional development. Technicians attend quarterly training seminars, certification programs, and refresher courses to keep their knowledge sharp and up to date with evolving industry standards.
